How are digital items approved or rejected? At Yew Marketplace we try to make sure that the digital items for sale on our platform meet stringent standards. Not only does this protect the buyers, but it also helps the sellers when it comes to potential complaints. The digital content offered for sale on this platform is provided 'as is' - in otherwords it is the author of the items who will always be responsible for ensuring their items are safe, secure and meet the standards that most buyers would expect and hope for.
There are broadly speaking 4 main sections to the approval (or rejection) system. Each of these are governed by a team of reviewers who will check the digital items submitted for approval to be sold on our platform by the authors.
Approved items are those that meet the quality standards that we would expect to see for digital goods.
Pending means that we are looking at the digital items submitted on the platform, and making a determination as to whether to approve, reject or ask the author to make some changes to allow us to pass their item for sale on our platform.
A soft rejection means that for one reason or another our reviewers were unable to make a decision one way or another. The reviewers may have seen promise in your item, but feel that there needs to be improvements made. These improvements might be in the colour scheme, format of the template, the documentation or something else.
A hard rejection means that the item has not met the standards we would expect to see on this platform. Whilst it might hurt your feelings if an item is rejected, it could simply mean that you need to go away and rethink how you as a buyer would understand or see this item. Where possible, our reviewers will try their best to explain why the digital item was rejected, and if we can help you, we will. Hard rejected items cannot be resubmitted.
